Introduction to Health and Safety
Interactive Health & Safety (H&S) lecture and discussion with specific regard to practices’ H&S requirements incorporating fundamental occupational H&S knowledge for all employees that will enable them to contribute to any H&S management system, be aware that their individual and group actions contribute to H&S in the work place and help them to understand their responsibilities.

Conflict Resolution
To increase awareness of policies & procedures on anger, aggression and violence at work, legal issues and Health & Safety laws. Awareness of risks and how to carry out risk assesments. Recognition of triggers to aggressive & violent situations, the threat, personal safety, how to diffuse aggression and minimise effects. Incident reporting and its importance. Increased awareness of lone working/home visits and staying safe in your vehicle etc. May include practical self defence training.

Designed to introduce the current guidelines this course covers Back Pain, Posture and Movement. Manual Handling Operations Regulations. Includes Risk Assessments, Attitudes and Culture, Reporting Accidents, Problem solving in your practice.

Introduction to Fire Safety
Explores Fire Precautions and the duties placed upon Occupiers of the premises. Looking at Fire Drills, Extinguishers and calling for Assistance. Compliance with The Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations.

Introduction to COSHH
The main objective of COSHH Regulations is to prevent or control exposure to substances hazardous to health. This course is suitable for all grades of staff who may be actively involved in the compliance of these Regulations.

Techniques to improve use of time. Prioritising workload, effective scheduling, personal goal setting. etc. Work/life balance.

Life Support/Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
Basic Life Support/CPR (Adult and/or Paediatric)
Designed and suitable for all disciplines. Maximum of 12 participants per instructor. The course includes both theoretical and practical content. Confirming CPR protocols and practical scenarios to confirm individual competencies.
