Darlington FC 'sign up' event management specialists

Event management company Already Sorted Limited – newly-appointed as the official supplier of conference audio-visual equipment to Darlington Football Club – has kicked off the deal with a charity event combating racism.

The event – 'Show Racism the Red Card' – involved 160 local school children coming together to watch a new educational DVD featuring top name footballers and managers, requiring Already Sorted to provide specialist audio-visual equipment and additional event management support.

As part of the new deal, Already Sorted will be providing the Football Club with equipment, conference and event management services, and production expertise to develop new ventures. They also wish to add their support to other charity events run by the Club through waiving costs.

Based at Scotton, nr Richmond, Already Sorted was set up in 2001 to offer bespoke event management and one-stop training sourcing to a variety of private clients and public sector organisations. Since then, its client base has spread far afield and includes 60 health trusts across the UK.

Eleanor Ryall, Marketing Manager for Darlington FC, said: "Already Sorted has a strong reputation for arranging innovative events and conferences and we have been very impressed by their organisation and efficiency. We are planning to use the Club's facilities to stage large-scale events in the future and are confident that Already Sorted will help us to develop a niche as a top quality venue for conferences, shows and exhibitions."

Tim Tavanyar, Managing Director of Already Sorted Limited, added: "We are delighted to have been awarded this contract with Darlington Football Club and look forward to working on a whole range of joint initiatives. We are also pleased to be able to support the Club's charitable work and thoroughly enjoyed being involved in the 'Show Racism the Red Card' day."

Footballers from the Darlington team were present at the charity day, where school pupils had the opportunity to question players face-to-face. The prize of a signed shirt was awarded to Tarryn Christison, a Year 8 pupil at Richmond School, as the youngster with the most insightful question.
